| Multiple Impact Test (ASTM) 10 mph impact Drop Height: 4 ft The Same helmet is impacted 3x in the same location. In order to pass this test, the helmet must reduce the peak acceleration of all 3 impacts to under 300 G's. Anything over 300 G's will cause a severe concussion and possible TBI (traumatic brain injury) or death. Soft Foam Helmet : FAIL S1 Lifer Helmet: PASS High Impact Test (CPSC) 14 mph Impact Drop Height: 7 ft The Same helmet is impacted 4x in different locations. In order to pass this test, the the helmet must reduce the peak acceleration of all 4 impacts to under 300 G's.
